Feelings of discomfort can mean a lot of different things. Above are a list of what may be the reason you are feeling discomfort. This list can hopefully help you more accurately diagnose your feelings of discomfort and enable you to move forward in a healthful way.
Discomfort is often a sign of threat. And threat can be a sign of danger. Our instincts tell us to react to danger by protecting or defending ourselves.
Please show some respect for the people who do experience being triggered. Choose a different word.

We often apply these words interchangeable without realizing that discomfort is undesirable, it does not always equal harm. Harm is an injury that leaves an emotional, physical, or psychological wound.
Equity makes opportunities more accessible to everyone. People with different heights receive different boxes so that they can see over the fence.
